structuring your conference
Our view is that effective presentations rely on a solid structure. Simply, we say ‘tell your audience what you’re going to tell them (the subject) and then tell them what you’ve told them (the subject summarised and coupled with actions). It always works.here’s our approach:
We’ll help you to clarify your key-messages and to organise your
presentation in terms of its preface, position, problem, possibility,
proposal, and postscript. These are the classic ‘six P’s’
We’ll then help you to work out what your audience knows and
doesn’t know, and in so doing, enable you to lay out your topic
simply and effectively
Often, the ‘less’ you say is ‘more’ when aiming to keep your
audience engaged, so what we’ll do is support you in crafting a
presentation that meaningful
Furthermore, we’ll guide you on putting negatives into context with
supporting positives, and keeping subjects simple and
straightforward to understand and act on
The upshot is a conference structured thoughtfully without jargon
and irrelevant information, and where simple language prevails
