measuring how well you do

There should always be a ‘measurable return’ when you produce a conference and deliver a presentation. You need to consider how you want people to think or feel after you’ve presented and conferred with them, and ideally how they act or behave differently. So, understanding how you well you have done is important.

here’s our approach:

We begin by looking back at your communication objectives and
informally assessing people’s opinions. It usually consists of more
open-ended, unstructured methods, and provides soft data.
However, ‘informal’ does not mean ‘invalid’. It’s a useful analysis

Second to this is a more formal assessment, where we’ll help you
with the likes of feedback cards, exit surveys and online
questionnaires

Data is then compiled into a report allowing you to see how you
made your audience think, feel, act and behave

These findings allow you to plan your next steps and how best to
back up or cascade you messages

Altogether, measurement is a vital part of growing and developing
your conference presentation skills. It’s something we always
encourage
